SOCAD

SOCAD is a limited liability Company. Its name is an acronym of the french “Societe de Commercialisation d'Articles Divers�. We have been trading for more than 23 years having been incorporated in 1993. We operate in the vehicle spare parts sector (industrial, commercial, private vehicles, and agricultural machines).

We have an authorized capital of 1 Billion DZD (approximately US $10m). We currently employ nearly 102 people, deployed in the Algiers Head Office and our warehouses and retail outlets established in different Wilayas (provinces) including 2 in the east, 2 in the west, and 1 in the south.

Within our core activities, namely the importation and distribution of vehicle spare parts, SOCAD maintains long-term commercial relationships and partnerships with internationally recognised companies such as AISIN, Goodyear, JOST, and MSI Motors.

Within the framework of its expansion plan and the diversification of its activity, the SOCAD initiated the construction of an important commercial and maintenance unit established in Gué de Constantine in Algiers. Its starting is planned for the second semester 2016.

A second project is considered in the wilaya of Ouargla, where the limited liability company SOCAD has a ground with an area of 25000 m2 and on which will be built a commercial and maintenance complex, centered more particularly towards the industrial vehicles, and this, by taking into account the geoeconomic situation of the area.

SOCAD has grown rapidly in the field of the Vehicle Spare Parts thanks to the experience of its management which includes a large number of executives from the old State car importing company (Entreprise Nationale de Distribution de Véhicules Particuliers ENDVP), within which each one of the management accumulated more than 20 years of experience.

With this reservoir of expertise and experience SOCAD has been able to expand its activities, and achieve double digit growth continuously in its spare parts sales in the last years.
